v5 GEN1 impressions & Pics of my Tamas

Have been very busy these days, I can't remember if I mentioned this before, but we're building our new lil house :) I mean *literally* :D

Speaking about Tamas, my v5's first generation went trough two evolutions:

TODDLER    --> TEEN        --> ADULT Belltchi   --> Ichigotchi  --> Onputchi Mousetchi  --> Bakutchi    --> Mumutchi Tororotchi --> Shelltchi   --> Violetchi

My plan was raising their bond to 80+ to have Ichigotchi evolve to Memetchi and then get a Cheerful Family. Unfortunately I missed two training calls yesterday, so this morning their bond percentage was 70% (actually 75, I think).

So, unespectedly, I got a Violetchi :D this is not bad at all, Violetchi is one of my favourite chars! At this point I'll try to get a Violet Family (a pet! a pet!) :)

After some days playing my v5, I must say I'm not fond of it. Here's what I don't really like.

Going random is just... no fun. - The fact you can't connect with other versions is disappointing; at least I'll have my sis in law to try connection with.  - The website is boring. Also, you have to insert passwords after every game! - The built-in games are just 4, two of them can't even be played on first gen (this could cause a new user to get bored soon) - The LCD is too light. I should test another battery. - Few characters, and not very cute in my opinion XD - I miss some details in the status menu (age, weight and such). But it's good you can see each char's name. - You can't name your newborns T.T you just give a name to the family, but it's much like the username on previous versions, you can't change it later. Naming my newborn tamas was part of the fun on previous versions.

Things I like:

- The animations... I think this is the better aspect of the v5. Animations are cute and funny. The bigger display helps a lot - You have infinite of each item. Or at least, this is what happened until now. You gain points veeeery slowly, and items (or foods) are expensive, but after you buy them the first time, you have an endless supply. This could also be a bad thing because once you have everything, there's no point in shopping anymore.

Can't think of anything else...

Anyways, my favourite at the moment is v4. The v6 hasn't been released here and I don't know if it will ever be, but reading some logs I can say it looks like it's better than the v5. The Tama Color must be the best ever XD but who knows when I will get one :D

My v4 is currently on pause. As I said on previous entry, Alfie the Mametchi mated a Pyonkotchi and they had a baby girl. I named her Ariel and paused it right after. I will probably unpause it after a few more generations with my v5.
