v5 GEN2 Violet Family

Yay! I got the Violet Family!!!

This morning my family had reached 48 hours since they got adult.

So I brought Violetchi to visit Mrs. Busybody. I used the change-time trick to have more than 3 tries a day. In fact it took like 30 tries to meet Sukatchi... during our search we even met Planetchi + Sunnytchi twice... but he was just not the right man LOL

Anyways, at the end, we met the guy... they liked each other and got married!!! They evolved to their parent form (Mamavioletchi and Papakizatchi) and had two babies: Mimifuwatchi (girl) and Omututchi (boy).

They already are a Violet Family, in fact this is what their family tag says.

The new animations, with the parents, are really cute, and between the two unlocked games, Golf Putt and Shoe Pairs, I like the second one best... it's actually easier ehehe

I want to see the pet animations!!!

I should take some pics, but I'm too lazy at the moment LOL maybe I will post them later or tomorrow

v5 GEN1 impressions & Pics of my Tamas

Have been very busy these days, I can't remember if I mentioned this before, but we're building our new lil house :) I mean *literally* :D

Speaking about Tamas, my v5's first generation went trough two evolutions:

My plan was raising their bond to 80+ to have Ichigotchi evolve to Memetchi and then get a Cheerful Family. Unfortunately I missed two training calls yesterday, so this morning their bond percentage was 70% (actually 75, I think).

So, unespectedly, I got a Violetchi :D this is not bad at all, Violetchi is one of my favourite chars! At this point I'll try to get a Violet Family (a pet! a pet!) :)

After some days playing my v5, I must say I'm not fond of it. Here's what I don't really like.

Anyways, my favourite at the moment is v4. The v6 hasn't been released here and I don't know if it will ever be, but reading some logs I can say it looks like it's better than the v5. The Tama Color must be the best ever XD but who knows when I will get one :D

My v4 is currently on pause. As I said on previous entry, Alfie the Mametchi mated a Pyonkotchi and they had a baby girl. I named her Ariel and paused it right after. I will probably unpause it after a few more generations with my v5.

Today Alfie was 5. Still no visits from the matchmaker until then.

I raised his points to EXACTLY 350 + 50 + 50... waited for 10 minutes and nothing happened...

Apparently he was too old to evolve to a special char.

In fact, later during the day, he got his first visit from the matchmaker. At 5 yo. Meh. (Maybe it has something to do with the fact that after 1 day he was still 0... I should've expected it!).

Oh well... no big deal, really. Special chars are quite easy to get on a v4.

Oh, I forgot to mention that yesterday Alfie got a job. He became a newsreader :D I had to choose between newsreader, bank and 3 other non-intelligence jobs. I really like the bank game, it's easy and it reminds me of v3's GET. But I had never tried the newsreader job before, so I wanted to see what it was like.

I wonder if you can end the game with "excellent" because I never did XD

Yesterday the shop had the UFO :D I love that item! But it's so expensive!!! So we went to TamaTown again to raise some GP (50.000), and then bought the UFO. Alfie really loved the space trip... and so did I :D

Today, as I said earlier, he got the first visit from Mrs. Busybody. She introduced a cute Pyonkotchi, they mated and got a baby girl :D I'm gonna name her Ariel :) (or maybe... Alice?)

Also, today I finally untabbed my v5 :D I find it sooo weird! At the moment I have to say I still like my v4 better.

I called my family PUPPY. This name has a story behind it, but it's too stupid for me to tell LOL.

My current chars are Belltchi, Mousetchi and Tororotchi.

I'm not sure I got the growth process, but I'll aim for a Cheerful family. We'll see.

Bonding is still at 0%, but it (they? LOL) called for training just once.
I'll enter some codes tomorrow if I have time. Also, I'll test everything around because in a few days it's my sister in law's birthday, and my brother will give her (among other things LOL) a pink I Love My Family v5 (the one with Violetchi's charm) so I'll have to be ready to explain her everything LOL.

I hope she'll like it so we could connect them. I don't know anybody else (I mean offline friends) owning a v5. Too bad it can't connect with older versions.

Also, I made another jeans pouch for my v5. This time I made it egg-shaped, because the chimney antenna is just TOO BIG, so it looked weird on my v4 pouch. I think it's fine this way, because in the egg-shaped pouch, the antenna is left outside. I'll have to post some pics :)

Going to bed now, I'm seriously falling asleep... and, please... I'd LOVE to see some comments :)

v4 GEN1 Mametchi

Today Alfie got to the adult stage, becoming a Mametchi!
He's so cute, especially in the zoom animation, when he walks towards the screen <3<3<3

We played a lot today and bought a lot of favourite foods from the shop. There was also a travel ticket, the France one. I didn't have enought GP at that moment, so we went to Tamatown and played Ring Toss.

I think we will use the ticket tomorrow... hopefully!

Today we went to a DIY store and bought some thin colored rope to make lanyards for my 3 Tamas. I bought a light blue one for my Sunflowers Connection V4, a dark green one (they didn't have light green) for my Tropical Flowers Connexion V3, and a yellow one for my still untabbed Lime Hearts Connexion V5. They all match very nicely

I already made (by hand) two jeans pouches, but I ran out of spare fabric LOL so I still have to make a pouch for the v5.

v4 GEN1 Young Androtchi

I haven't played much the last two days, I've been very busy :(

Aniways, yesterday Alfie evolved just after waking up... he became a Young Androtchi! So Mame family will be :)

Today we went to Tamatown and collected 10 more souvenirs. We still miss the travel ones, the two you get from parents and grandparents, and the ones you take at the office (you need to have a job to take those). Oh, and also the ones you get after graduations. Apparently, you can't have all the souvenirs until your third generation is an employed adult :D

I'm starting to raise pencil points. It's quite easy because I love Shape :D
Also my daughter Julia helped me today while I was busy. She's not too good at Shape, so I let her play Jumping Rope; my plan is to reach 50 with star and flower points, and go over 350 with pencil points, so Alfie will (should) evolve to Tensaitchi :D

v4 GEN1 Puchitchi & bought a v5

I've been quite busy today so I didn't play much.

Anyways I took the time to visit Tamatown with Alfie. We took 10 out of the 32 souvenirs. I realize most of them will be gone when Alfie will go back to Tama Planet but oh well.

Today Alfie got TWO robber's visits! He stole a total of 900 GP, he is so poor now! Luckily he had enough GP to buy Tacos, which is the fave food of two of the possible adults that Alfie could end up being.

Something weird: Alfie's got more than 24 hours and he's still at 0 yrs and did not evolve to teen yet. I didn't pause it at all. According to this log, something similar happened on the first generation before the reset. Maybe a glitch? Who knows... at least there are no balls involved (yes, I'm traumatized XD).

But the very special thing about today is... I got a Familitchi!!!

We went to the supermarket this afternoon, and planning to have a pizza we had some spare time to spend away from home before dinner. So I said "Yay! Let's go to the toy store!" hubby was not so happy LOL but we went anyway. Julia fell in love with a chemical kit to create crystals, while I was looking for Tama's... I finally found them in a hidden corner LOL they are not very popular here... when... I spot the price tag: special offer!!! So hubby agreed to take one I feel so happy It's been quite a while since the last time I got a new toy XD

I already unpacked it but I still can't decide when it's better to untab it... maybe tomorrow, or maybe I'll stick with my v4 for a couple of generations and then untab the familitchi... we'll see

Alfie just evolved into a Puchitchi!

I'm having a look at the growth chart: so he could evolve into a Mame or Meme. I'm hoping the former because I could achieve Tensaitchi very easily, because I really enjoy playing the INT game, Shape, and I'm really good at it.

Also, I've already seen in the past two out of three male Meme characters on this very same Tama (before the ball glitch). So I'd end up choosing Tosakatchi, which I don't really like much.

Well, I'm crossing fingers until tomorrow.

Setting time and date... then my birthday (5 / 21) and my username... it used to be MAYA! with the final exclaimation mark, I can't remember why, but this time I entered just MAYA.

The egg is cracking... it's a BOY! I was hoping for a girl, really, because I already had some name ideas (Ariel ) but okay.

So... I'm gonna name him... Alfie!

Feeding him 4 cereal meals, it's a relief to see those **** balls are not there anymore XD

We just played a perfect Jumping Rope game and he gained his 4 Happy hearts and 5 INT points.

I'm just feeding him cereal meals at the moment, and when his Happy hearts drop, I play. I'm avoiding snacks.

Let's have a look at the shop... oh! Milk is for sale, this is luck nothing else interesting at the moment, and I just have 450 GP so I'll just take the Milk for now.

While waiting for him to evolve I'm entering universal codes and passwords... my lists look so empty now O.o

In the next few days I will aim to fill the souvenir list, unfortunately most of them will disappear with the next generation, but it will be nice to see the list full (or almost full) for once.

It's been very hard to reach the 350 fashion points goal without a job, after hundreds of plays I still suck at Dance XD but at least I managed to pass the last round 3 times. Oh well, it's still something to be proud of XD

After taking these pictures, I tabbed my Tama... I'm going to untab it in a few hours... still feeling sad about resetting it but it will be somehow exciting exploring Tamatown again and re-collecting everything.

Previously on my v4 & the Infamous Ball Glitch

Wow... I didn't expect this tamalog to be here anymore :D

I was about to start a new one, but since it's always the same tama, I guess I'll go on with this.

Let's summarize things up:

Ron evolved into a Simasimatchi, as expected.


He later had a baby girl, which I named Herm. At this point I tabbed my v4 (it was April 2007) because I had just got my DS and was really busy playing Animal Crossing LOL.

A few weeks ago I felt nostalgia for Tama's beeps (LOL) and untabbed both my v4 and my v3, which is under the care of my 9yo daughter Julia.

Herm later in the days evolved and ended up being a Maidtchi... so cute :)


After Herm I got Ginny: her final evolution was Pukatchi.


Ginny's son was named Matt, as I couldn't think of any other Harry Potter inspired name with less than 5 letters XD he evolved into a Minotchi... eww!


After Matt came Jamie, that became a Debatchi XD


Note: with these 3 last generation I went totally random with skill points, so evolutions were a surprise :)

So finally we are in the present day: I have Meg. She is a Memetchi and I'm trying to raise fashion points to have Makiko.

Unfortunately... yesterday I accidentally caught the ball glitch :( My tama is currently messed up badly: I just have 1 kind of snack, and in the food section I have the default meal kinds, plus infinite balls O.o

I have to be very careful not scrolling the meal section because at a certain point, after a lot of balls, my Tama freezes and the screen goes blank, when this happen the only way to make it work again is removing the battery and choose Download.

The balls are still there. I can't buy anything from the shop, being it meal, snack or item. Nothing. It's like all of my lists are full.

Also, Meg has been an adult for 2 days and she never got her [!] job letter. I guess this will never happen.

So... the only way to fix everything is resetting and starting over. This is so sad... all of my Items will be gone. I'll lose my beloved 7 generations and everything. This just sucks.

What I'm going to do now is trying to have Makiko (I really have no idea if this will work or not, because of the ball glitch). Without a job it will be very hard because I still suck at Dance. Also, I have to be VERY careful not to scroll the meal menu to avoid the screen to go blank.

When (and IF) I get Makiko, I will take some pictures and euthanize my Tama T.T I will start over, hence the reason I wanted to start a new log.

I'm sad T.T

At least now I know how NOT to cause this horrible glitch. I've been researching a lot yesterday, to find a way to fix it. I found a thread on another major tama board, where people tried to get this glitch on purpose. DON'T do this. This is the worst glitch I've caught so far. It messes up your Tama very badly and the result is you have to start everything over, since there's absolutely no way to fix it.
