v4 GEN8 Pearl (Mimitchi) and Ball Glitch again T.T

Looks like I'll never reach the tenth generation -.- I thought I knew how to avoid the ball glitch but I was wrong... we'll get to that, first my 8th generation: this time I got a female, for a change. I named her Pearl after Maya's little cousin in Ace Attorney.  I got Mame family AGAIN (sounds like a curse!) so I picked the cute Mimitchi (Intellectual).

Let's talk about the glitch. I first caught it years ago, I was on my 7th generation on this very Tamagotchi (a USA v4 from the first wave). Since I got it after deleting many foods in a row, and since everyone trying to replicate it did the same, I assumed that deleting no more than one food at a time (playing games or doing other actions in between) was enough. I was wrong >.<
This morning my Mimitchi got her second job letter, so I though I could try to raise art points to get my favourite job (bakery). I used some Tamatown codes to buy donuts and cherries but my lists were almost full so I went to the present menu and deleted a food. Then I wrapped another and sent it over IR to my daughter's v4. Played some games, then deleted something else and so on. At some point I saw that they didn't go away from the list... oh gosh, I told to myself, talk about defective software... went back to the feed menu and one of the basic snacks was missing. Went back to present menu and there it was. The damn BALL.

You know what? I had just made my last donation to the king, yesterday. I had just got the last travel souvenir I was missing and was planning to fill the souvenirs list with my next generation, so I could see it 100% complete for once.

This just sucks. 

For sympathy, Julia agreed to reset her v4 as well... she had just completed her donations too... so I took some pics and we both reset our v4's. Unfortunately I thought too late that we could try to replicate the glitch on her v4, it's from Europe and I have no idea if EUR v4's are affected by the Ball glitch too. Since v4.5 are, I assume they are too. Oh well, it's too late now.

So we reset and got two boys. We named them Chuck and Casey after the TV show characters (we love Chuck!). I don't know if I'll stick to Chuck names for my following generations.

This time I know. I'll NEVER EVER trash or wrap ANY food AT ALL. I'll just feed them to my char to get rid of them. I promise I'll reach 10th generation this time and if I ever catch the ball glitch again I'm gonna smash that damn thing with a hammer and buy a iD L instead >.<

v4 GEN7 Damon (Tosakatchi)

OMG another male XD this is the FIFTH MALE in a row. I named him Damon after Detective Gant from Ace Attorney. Luckily this time I (unespectedly) got a Meme, so I put all my efforts to raise intellectual points and got a Tosakatchi.

This is like the weirdest char I got so far, he looks different in every zoom level O.O

v4 GEN6 Larry (Androtchi)

OMG I just realized I've been pronuncing Tamagotchi the wrong way for my whole life >.< actually, the way English speaking countries commercial pronunce it is wrong... I have no idea how to write it to make you understand but the "chi" part is more like "ttttchi" O.O oh well, go to Youtube and search for "Japanese Tamagotchi commercial" and you'll see what I mean. I'M IN SHOCK LOL.

Back to my log, I got another male Mame... WTF? It's getting annoying. Anyways, I went for Androtchi this time, so I raised arts points.

His name is Larry, after Ace Attorney Phoenix's childhood friend.

v4 GEN5 Nick (Zukyutchi)

My fifth generation has been the third male in a row... I don't know why I prefer female characters. This time I named him after Ace Attorney's main char (Apollo? Who the hell is Apollo? LOL), Nick. Ok, his name is Phoenix, but his assistant Maya Fey calls him Nick.

This time I raised social points and went for a Zukyutchi.

v4 GEN4 Miles (Pyontitchi)

Haven't felt like updating this log, even because the lack of time.

Anyway, my 4th gen was kind of disappointing XD in fact I forgot to take any picture at all.

Yeah, a universal char... I had very few skill points. I believe you need a total of 50+ skill points to get a non-universal char.

... but I remembered to take a snapshot of the postcard I got for visiting New York

Luckily I managed to get a job that I like, the florist. I like the crane game

v4 GEN3 Godot (Tensaitchi)

This post is about my v4's 3rd generation, which ended last night when my Tensaitchi went back to Tama Planet, leaving his baby boy under my care.

His name was Godot I have no idea how many of you have a DS and how many of you having a DS are a fan of the Ace Attorney series. Well, I am so I decided from this generation on I'm going to name all of my tamas after Ace Attorney characters. My favourite male char is Godot, so Godot it was!

I have very little spare time at the moment, but I managed to get 450+50+50 skill points. Luckily, when he evolved into a Mametchi, he became a doctor on first try. I'm a big fan of the game GET, so I played it a lot

I took some pics of Godot as Tensaitchi. This was the first time I got this special char!

So, a couple days ago he married a cute Pyonkotchi and they had a baby boy, which I named Miles and will be my 4th generation

v4 GEN2 Ariel (Maidtchi)

Hey everynobody LOL

Haven't had much time to log lately, but my v4 is still running. I can say that my love for tamas is burning again in fact i fell in love with the Tama Go... I'd like to buy one when I have some spare money.

Ariel ended up being a Maidtchi, as planned. Looking back at old logs and pics, I discovered I had already gotten a maidtchi before, but couldn't remember at all, so it's ok.

She was a teacher. I must say I really like the teacher game, it's simple and amusing. She mated with a Pyontitchi and they had a baby boy.

During this generation, I bought another v4 well, not really... I mentioned that my daughter untabbed my v3. After a few days, she told me she would've loved to have her own v4 because it looked so much better. Can't really remember if I mentioned it here, but the v4 and v5 are the latest tamagotchi's models you can find here in Italy. They didn't sell very well, so you can still find some at toy stores for a reasonable price, so we went to the mall one evening and we found one for € 9.90 (was hoping for less, since two years ago when I bought my v5, they carried many v4 and v5 for €6.90, or something like that).

So she now has her own v4, here it is (click to enlarge):

You can see she's not giving it very good care since she got a Gozaruchi on her first gen, and a Pyontitchi (Ariel's mate).

Anyways, we are having fun exchanging presents and playing games, which can only be done using two v4's (hers is a EUR Jinsei really, mine is a USA v4 but of course they can connect just fine).

v4 GEN2 Young Mametchi

Hey everyone not only is my v4 STILL running, but my daughter wanted me to untab my v3 as well, for her to play with (she's 11, so she knows how to take care of a virtual pet).

The A button on the v3 wasn't working very well... at all, so after asking for advice, yesterday I opened it and cleaned the contacts. Now it's almost as new so today I did it to my v4 as well, and it feels more responsive, indeed.

Speaking of the v3, I'm not going to log extensively about it, because it's under my daughter's care.

About my v4: Ariel is now sleeping (it's almost 10 PM here), she's 1yo but should be 2 by now... maybe she didn't age as expected because of the DOWNLOAD/RESET after the button cleaning. Oh well

Yesterday she evolved into a Young Mametchi.

When she got her visit from the threee teachers we chose Mrs. Flower. I'm currently raising fashion points so she will probably become a Maidtchi.

Today we bought everything we found in the shop, except for the trumpet... because we ran out of GP's >.< we had only 8 left when the rober came... we wanted to stole 100GP, too bad we only had 8 left LOL

Soon after we had a visit from the Tama King who awarded us some points... then I used a lot of chests, fishing rods and magic lamps I found in her inventory. I probably had left them there before tabbing it two years ago. That was perfect! We went from zero to 10.000 GP in a matter of minutes, so we could take the trumpet as well. So cool!

We also played some Ring Toss in TamaTown and earned some more GP, then we went to visit my daughter's Obotchi, a female named Ellie. She kept winning, so Ariel got sad
